The external connections for the piping have been made, pressure tests conducted, and all the trenching in-filled. One of the many nice qualities of sand is that it is very dense, so we do not expect much settling of the earth levels in the well-field. Monday the fence will come down and the grounds will be restored. Grass seed will be planted, along with five new hybrid elm trees.
Inside the house, the work continues. The ductwork is still going in, the wiring is still being replaced. Its is a big house and the systems are extensive. We will continue to be closed on Thursdays and Fridays for tours, and the Research Room will also be closed until the end of October. We appreciate your patience and support!
